Vice president Rt. Maj. Jessica Alupo Hass been installed as the third Chancellor of St. Lawrence University (SLAU)
Alupo has replaced Prof. Edward Ssekandi, the former Vice president of Uganda.
The installation took place shortly before the commencement of the 13th Graduation ceremony at SLAU University Headquarters in Kampala.
Alupo will be charged with ensuring the full functioning of the University to ensure its unstoppable growth.
SLAU is among the 7 education institutions that were started by Prof. Lawrence Mukiibi who died in 2017, following complications after accident.
