Nearly two years after his demise, a dark cloud continues to hover over followers of deceased Pastor Augustine Yiga of Revival Church Kawaala.

Persistently, as a few remained derisive, a number of followers who subscribed to his unique type of socially-entertaining ministering, have remained supportive and civil.

Yiga, died at the age of 44 leaving a legacy echoed in the hearts of many through her unique ministering, but also his hard earned property estate could however not be at ease over the uncertainties within his left estate.

The estate that includes the church and ABS TV left under the stewardship of his older son and successor Jjengo Andrew has since faced intentional auctions.

Earlier this week, Kayinda Ssemakula moved to obtain a High Court order from Justice Juliet Hatanga, authorizing him to sell off the land on which the Church stands citing that the land was used as security in a loaned money deal by Kayinda to the person of Yiga.

The loan estimated to have risen which to Shs150m is now seeing the land go by auction at a valued sum of Shs180m which Kayinda, however, urges that does not include the amount he paid to lawyers to pursue payment via Courts of law.

Furthermore, in renewed claims is local herbalist Kojja Richard Kimbowa, another associate of deceased Pastor Yiga who is believed to be instrumental in setting up and operating ABS TV.

Kimbowa has come out to task Jjengo pay him Shs621m which he injected into the TV station.

In similar regard, former mistress to Pastor Yiga, Maggie Kayima alias Nabbi Omukazi also bounced back claiming her share as a ‘co-founder and co-director of ABS TV.

The ‘woman prophet’ in her claim for earthly property and wealth alleges that she also demands Shs700m for the services she rendered to the company.

“I am a co-founder and co-director of Abs TV Kawaala. Nange ezange nzagala musaga! Mulwanira nebyemutamanyi jjebyatandikira? Kamanyiro just ate Nali mbasonyiye nga ndaba temulina nayekukyendabye, nange ezange nzikima.”

Meanwhile, the apparent heir to fallen pastor Yiga and Revival Christian Church steering senior Pastor Andrew Jjengo has rubbished the auction intentions as hogwash.

Jjengo, affirms that though the estate of his late father is indebted to a tune of about shs.180M, it would be unrealistic and dehumanizing for followers and revealers to assume it can go away.

“How can one think that with our estate valued in billions of shillings, we can be distracted by a mere Shillings 180M debt that we intend to clear! This is a small matter that shouldn’t worry you are faithful,” said the shepherd before his sheep.
