Tororo: man arrested with three stolen goats
Police in To toro has arrested a man who had allegedly stollen three goats.
The yet to be identified suspect was arrested by the territorial police in Mulanda Tororo after it aged after on information that he was riding off with a cattle and three goats on December 11.
This incident occurred at Malawa “C”, Nyamalogo Parish, Siwa Sub- County, Tororo District at around 0630/C.
“It’s alleged that today early morning the 11/12/2023 at around 0630C Police of Mulanda got information that there’s a man suspected to be moving with stolen three goats on a m/c number UDF 925L covered with clothes,” Peter Mugwe the Bukedi region police spokesperson said in a statement.
Police officers from Mulanda Station, he saud then booked out on UP 5562 and went to Malawa “C” where they intercepted the M/C with three suspected stolen goats.
“Three goats where recovered together with a m/c reg no. UDF 925L suspected to be stollen which prompted our officers to open up a case on the suspect for being in possession of suspected stollen property vide the afore-stated Sd Reference and inquiries have commenced meanwhile the suspect is in our Mulanda Police Station’s safe custody hoping to aid investigations,” he said
