Security Guard Loses Gun to Assailants


Police at Kasangati are investigating the circumstances under which a security guard attached to GKO Security company lost his gun.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the KMP Deputy Police Spokesperson said in a press statement that the security guard was attacked while heading to his beat and cut by unidentified assailants at about 7:30 PM and his gun was taken.

“Our team responded and took him to Mulago hospital for treatment while the search for the gun has commenced,” reads part of the statement

Police, he said  responded and took the security guard to Mulago hospital for treatment, “while the search for the gun has commenced.”
