The draws for Bikuuka sports tournament 4th edition were held on Saturday afternoon in Mbale City stadium.
The tournament will kick-off on 17th Sep 2022 and finals be played on 17th December 2022 at Mbale City Stadium. Bikuuka clan coordinators accused the previous referees for taking bribes during officiating of matches.
Nakhaima Janarius coordinator Mutiru clan says that in the last three editions referees used to take bribes and this brought violence among the fans.He says this time there should be professionalism if they want the tournament to be a success.


Mr. Dunga Gerald chairman Bikuuka Technical football confirmed that there are some individual referees who misbehave but he’s going to ensure things move well this time.
However Allan Makweta the general secretary of referees in Eastern region as we as a representative of Muyobo clan confirmed that there are some referees who take bribes but claim that the coordinators are to blame because they like following them for help hence these cases of bad officiating.
The vice chairman Bikuuka organizing committee Mr. Wagidoso Ivan commended local leaders MPs for the support they give to their clans.
He said, they’re still struggling to get sponsors for the tournament and appeals to all companies, institutions and individuals to come and support them.
The group stages will be played on home and away format while the knockout phase on neutral ground for both football and Netball respectively.


The fixtures for football and netball will be released after verification of playgrounds submitted by all clan coordinators.
Wakoko clan are the football defending champions of 3rd edition while netball final was not held.
