Prime minister launches Namagumba Budadiri Nalugugu road project in sironko

The Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja was on Wednesday at Budadiri girls Secondary School play grounds in Sironko district to launch the Namagumba-Budadiri-Nalugugu road project.

Prime Minister flagged off the construction of the 39 km road, expected to cost over sh.129 billion with funding from the African development bank.

The prime minister who represented the president of Uganda in her address warned the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) to desist from shoddy works also calling upon the residents to strictly monitor the constructions and report any cases of theft in order to produce good quality work.

“Dear UNRA please insure quality work, and you the residents please monitor every construction stage, don’t accept those who will steal the cement and fuel because it will affect the quality of the road, so let everybody monitor one another so that we produce a good quality road” stated Nabanja.
