“We noticed 2 weeks ago, and when we checked CCTV video we realized there was an attempt a week earlier, so we were on the watch last weekend, that is how we grabbed them,” he added.

Bikara shared with DaParrot some of the footage, showing the suspects stealing.

“After analyzing the trend of thefts, we asked for reinforcement from our private security services provider and we apprehended the suspects,” he said,

“They were first detained at Kisasi police station,  then they were transferred to Kira Road police station. The file was supposed to be taken from Kira Road to the Resident Attorney,” he added.

Efforts to get Police comment on this issue were futile as the known number of Luke Owoyesigyire the  Kampala metropolitan Deputy Police spokesperson was off by press time.

Bikara warned Ugandans and their neighborhood to deter from engaging in such bad Activities.

“Those bad vices, especially that now they suspect crossed borders into Uganda, are very bad for businesses, businesses lose because of stolen merchandise and it also increases the cost doing businesses by requiring expenditure on expensive security personnel and equipment,” he said
