Following investigations, police tracked the suspects to Rukungiri District, where they were arrested. The suspects led authorities to the location where the stolen number plates were hidden, resulting in the recovery of seven plates, now exhibited at Bwizibwera Police Station. The suspects are awaiting prosecution.
