Police Cautions Public Against Jogging With Header On

Police has cautioned the public to desist from jogging especially early morning when their headsets are on.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga told reporters on Monday that a 22-year-old female jogger, was attacked and gang raped by three men with pangas. 

“Our police in Kira and Namugongo are actively investigating this incident that happened on the 27th November 2022, at around 4:30 am in Namugongo,” he said 

Enanga following this incident also cautioned the public to always jog in groups to avoid such unfortunate circumstances.

“Also, avoid wearing headphones and earbuds while running as it prevents one from hearing their surrounding,” he said.
