A section of presidents of different African States especially East Africa have arrived in Uganda ahead of tomorrow’s celebration of Uganda’s 60th Independence.
The president started jetting at Entebbe International Airport in the evening on Saturday.

Kenya’s president William Ruto was among the presidents who arrived first
Ruto, the fifth president of Kenya has made his first visit to Uganda as the Kenyan president having last visited as the Vice President.

He was welcomed at the Entebbe International Airport by Henry Onek, the State Minister of Foreign Affairs in-charge of International Cooperation.
Ruto is expected to meet the president at State House, the two will also be at the Independence Celebrations.
Burundi’s president Evariste Ndayishimye also jetted in l, welcomed by Marksons Oboth the State Minister of Defense.
Few minutes later, Hassan Sheikh Muhamad the President of Somalia also jetted in and welcomed by Vicent Sempijja the Minister of Defense.

Hassan Ali Mwinyi the President of Zanzibar and the Chairperson of Revolutionary Council has also arrived.
