Museveni Woos UK Investors to Tap into Uganda’s Mineral and Agriculture Sectors

President Museveni has called upon investors in the United Kingdom (UK) to come and invest in Uganda’s Mineral and Agriculture Sectors.

This was during a one day fruitful  business breakfast which the held with UK investors, fund managers, processors of food and large commodity buyers at Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London this morning.

This was on his route to USA where he will attend the US-Africa Leaders Summit.

The one day engagement organised by the Advisory Committee to the President (PACIED) in conjunction with the Commonwealth Enterprise Council (CWEC).

Some of the Investors who attended the meeting

During the engagement, Museveni said that “we launched our agenda to market Uganda to all markets of the world and increase our global market share for our agricultural exports,” 

“I also used the opportunity to call upon able investors to tap into Uganda’s mineral and agricultural sectors since we have the necessary incentives to facilitate return on investment,” he said adding,

“We have the market, we have competitive polices, we are ready and profitable,”
