President Yoweri Museveni has today December 12, appointed 37 new ambassadors and their deputies.
“By virtue of the powers vested in the President of the Republic of Uganda, by Article 122(1), I hereby appoint the following as Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Deputy Ambassadors to the respective brotherly and friendly countries,” reads part of the Notice.
Among the appointees are some.of the MPs who supported the Controversial 2017 Age Limit Bill, the old Ambassadors and those who had been dropped.
These include Amb Yahya Ssemuddu who was dropped bfrom Saudi Arabia recently and have now been sent to Khatourm.
