The leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga has clashed with the Minister of Defense over the Missing 18 persons and other human rights violations for which the Opposition is boycotting Parliament plenary.

While at Masaka Diocesan Day Celebrations; Mpuuga, challenged the Defence and Veterans affairs Minister, Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja to come clean on the abductions and extrajudicial killing of Ugandans.

Amidst heckling from the congregation at Kitovu Sports Arena in Masaka City, Ssempijja expressed the government’s disappointment with the security agencies for taking long to conclude investigations in a number of cases.

He however, promises that the government will soon come out with a statement on the missing persons.
