Lands Minister Judith Nabakooba has wondered the relevancy security committees who failed to even implement her short term directive on land evictions.

“Despite my earlier warning against evictions during this period, cases continued such as this one in the middle of town, Kira road, plot 106A,” the frustrated Minister posted on her twitter handle on Wednesday.

“I appeal to our land security committees and the public to remain vigilant. Let us restore sanity in the land sector. Follow the law,” she added

Nabakooba banned land evictions during the period of Christmas holidays but to her dismay this has continued happening.

“All court orders should be verified through the courts of law using the established processes before any action is taken,” the Minister said last week

“No eviction should be done without a verified court order.Enjoy the holidays,” she added.
