The inflation rate has increased by 0.5% from 6.3% recorded in May to 6.8% in July.

The June monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) revealed that this increase was due to an increase in Core Inflation to 5.5% in June from 5.1 of May 2022.
