Kampala. It all began when 29-year-old Vanessa Nakiwala was badly tortured by a one Paddy Ddungu, her step father who allegedly having oral sex with a one Sarah in a sitting room.
A source shares that it had been rumoured that Nakiwala was involved in a same sex relationship with Sarah, which hurt most family members and community members.
“After being tortured by her step – father, she run away from her home in Bulenga a Kampala suburb to Gulu, a district in Northern,” a source shared.
It is understood that when she reached Gulu she re-united with Sarah whose real name is Shamirah.
The reception in Gulu was never rosy after the couple was again beaten up in a night club following rumours that they were lesbians.
The couple desperate attempt to escape forced them into Nimule in South Sudan via Alegu by bus in July 2019 where the duo got a job in a bar called Laquinta in Tongpi where Vanessa was raped on Gun point.
The whereabouts of Sarah are still unknown but the source shares that around August, 2022 she found her way to Europe.
