Fight over Museveni birthday fete kicks off; ONC accused of selfishness

A fight over the organization of the 79th birthday fete of President Museveni has kicked off inside the NRM camp.

The office of the National Chairman led by Ms. Hadijah Namyalo was yesterday accused by one Emma Nsereko alias Munamasaka of being selfish.

The former have organized August 7 as the date for the fete yet the president was born on September.

Speaking to reporters yesterday, Munamasaka warned the public from attending a premature Jajja Mwami (President M7) birthday before the D- Date, Nsereko has empathized that if President M7 was born on 15th September why are some people planning to celebrate Jajja’s birthday before the day he was born which evil thing are you planning to do our lovely president Munamasaka said.

This was during the press conference at Centenary Park in Kampala convened by Munamasaka who also know for composing songs for NRM and President Museveni in particular, he revealed that it’s only the blind person who can’t recognize what President Museveni has done but although she/he can appreciate the peace in Uganda because is not disturbed as a blind person.

“President Museveni’s government has constructed roads, electricity, schools, stability and brought initiatives such Parish Development Model (PDM), Myooga, YLP among others all intended for the social, economic and political development of the country” Munamasaka adds.
Two different adverts have been going on different television stations.

Efforts to get a comment from ONC were futile as the known number of Ms. Namyalo was off by press time.
The ONC is still grappling with a case at IRSB over the own ship of the slogan.
