Police in the Kampala Metropolitan area are holding a one John Kahagi Kinuthia the driver of KBZ 539Z Mercedes Benz trailer, which allegedly killed knocked Hon. Gordon Bafaki the former MP of Kazo County.
“The territorial Police at Kira Road has this morning of 15th June 2022, at around 0120hrs registered a fatal accident at Kiwatule along Northern Bypass involving Motorvehicle reg. KBZ 539Z Mercedes Benz trailer and Motorvehicle reg UBD 965E Toyota land cruiser TX,” ASP Faridah Nampima the PRO Traffic and Road Safety said in a statement.
According to ASP Nampima, Hon Bafaki allegedly nocked the rear body of the moving trailer.
“The driver of the Trailer identified as is in police custody to help in investigations,” he said.
