Deputy Resident City Commissioner Northern city division in Mbale City has Thursday afternoon highlighted the areas to start her work from.
In the special council meeting with the Northern city division councilors and all technocrats to welcome her into the division.
Mr. Kadimba Hussein the speaker Northern City division pledged full support to deputy RCC. Adding that for him he’s a man who always wants to use the law in any decision he makes while in council.
Prosy Mwanguzi the deputy city commissioner for the Northern City division said she’s going to deal with land grabbers in the division.

Though she said Mbale city is full of criticism, she is ready to work with the people of the Northern division for the growth of the city.
She adds that they lack office places for the operation of their official duties and a big challenge of increased corruption and load shading in Namabasa which came as the result of power line diversion.
ASP Byamugisha John the DPC for Mbale Northern city division during the session, he highlighted the hot spot criminal areas like Mission cell, Kiteso cell, Kikyafu cell, Bujolooto, and Nkoma.
He reported several cases in the division which included rape, land grabbing, drug abuse by youths, and defilement on increment.
“The DPC also said they receive 3-4 cases of rape defilement every day and the minors are of eight to fifteen years of age,” he said.
Byamugisha also raised a complaint about the children killing their parents because of land.
He warned land grabbers to stop immediately before the law catches up with them.
The DPC also informed the leaders that, the police headquarters want to put up for them Unipots for accommodation and offices but they don’t have land. So he appeals to the councilors to get them this land so that they can give good services.
