Democratic Party (DP) president Norbert Mao filed a complaint against Bizonto comedy citing the group threatened to kill.
In the complaint, the Former Gulu LC5 chairperson claims that the group issued the threats in one of their latest YouTube skits.
In the allegedly threats inclusive skit, Bizonto accuses Mao of being deliberately sent to destroy the opposition before referring to him as the Mau Mau rebellion.
The group also labels Mao a ‘wife snatcher’ who has the right to snatch more wives as long as he doesn’t attack Dr. Kizza Besigye and Bobi Wine who they say is people’s only hope.
Bizonto thus urged Mao to stop being abusive or else he would risk being beaten.
Meanwhile, furious Mao has not taken these Bizonto threats as he also went ahead to publicize the developments in a statement he shared on his official Twitter handle.
“I have filed a formal complaint with the police against the hate-mongering NUP/KY Choir known as Bizonto Comedy for threatening my life in their skit on YouTube. They used all sorts of innuendo to sully my character and ended by threatening to kill me,” said Mao.
The DP boss has for the past weeks through a social media verbal war been critical of the National Unity Platform (NUP) leaders saying they are incompetent and incapable of leading the country.
