BULAMBULI- Bulambuli Woman MP Donates 4000 Kuroiler Chicken to boost household income.

Bulambuli Woman Member of Parliament Eng. Nafuna Muloni Irene donated over 4000 Kuroiler Chicks to women groups in Bulambuli district in a bid to increase household income.

While handing over the chicks to beneficiaries, Eng. Muloni said Kuroilor chicks are hybrid chicken breeds that are good dual-purpose value for both meat and egg production. They grow faster and lay more eggs than the local chicken.

Muloni asked women farmers’ groups to continue embracing government programs and assured them that if they register success she will bring more for them.

“If rare these chicks very well, they will soon give you eggs and you start earning money,” Muloni said.

The legislator also donated four Solar water pumps worth 900 million shillings to the youths in the district to enable them to acquire an irrigation system.

Muloni also handed over 26 soccer balls for the boys in 26 sub-counties and balls for the girls.

She added that this is her gift for Christmas to the women and youths in the district. 

Ms. Nambuya Petwa Councilor Bulambuli district for Buwanyanga sub-county said that they are really happy for hon Muloni to support the women in the district.

Nambuya said they are going to see that the homesteads improve through this program am great full to her not like those who just come and give you money to eat.

Nengone Dalia Wadada Woman league Network in Bulambuli district commended the MP for supporting them.

“We thank her for giving us this project, this is not the first she gave us tailoring machines.” She noted.

Bigala Mary another beneficiary said that they are great full for the Christmas gift given to them by their area member of parliament.
