

H.E. Stephen Mubiru, Uganda’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany presented his letter of Credence to H.E Frank- Walter Steinmeier, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The function which took place at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin, Germany on 22nd August 2022 was attended by Officials from the Uganda Embassy in Berlin as well as the German Government.
Diplomatic relations were established on October 9, 1962, immediately after Uganda had become an independent state.
The bilateral cooperation which began in 1964, two years after Uganda gained Independence, has seen Germany emerging as one of Uganda’s key development partners focusing mainly on energy, agriculture, water, and governance sectors.
