Police in Bugweri District is holding a 50-year-old Joseph Kyozira who allegedly defiled a 13-year-old mentally female juvenile on Tuesday morning.
Nyende who survived lynching reportedly defiled a mentally disabled daughter of Samuel Nyende, the Chairperson of Kyikunu village in Kyikunu Parish, Idudi Town Council.
Angry, Herat broken Nyende told reporters that it is indeed unfortunate that his neighbor has done such an Act to his daughter.
“I personally found them naked in his house. I found Kyozira defiled my daughter I saw them with my naked eyes,” he said
“This is a bad Act and yet Kyozira is HIV Positive, I am broken I feel pressure.
Kyozira was in the hospital not a long time and I personally went there to sympathize with him,” he added
Nyende said that his daughter is mentally disabled and also the health status of the suspect is already known as living on ARVs.
“I was tempted to call the police who took custody of the suspect as he narrates, ” he said
In the same development, Iduudi town council councilor for PWDs, Mohammed Kadunga condemned the act saying that the minor is mentally disabled.
“I request the government to offer Justice in this case but I am really annoyed,” he said
